Cultural Immersion
Live and learn in Hamyang. Experience authentic Korean life far beyond the tourist traps.

Daily classes in Korean language, music, and history taught by qualified educators.

Safe 1:6 staff-to-student ratio with UW graduates and educators from both the U.S. and Korea.

A Typical Day & Adventure

Morning: Culture & Academics

  • Korean Language: Intensive and practical lessons.
  • Music: Percussion ensemble and Samulnori.
  • Yoga: Traditional Kouksundo practice.
  • Culinary Arts: Making Gimbap and various Kimchi.

Afternoon: Field Trips

  • Historic sites, temples, and local churches.
  • Visits to local Korean schools.
  • Farms and mountain trails.
  • Local concerts and cultural performances.

Weekend Excursions

We explore beyond the village. Destinations include:

Busan Jeonju Tsushima Island, Japan
